Sadly it has come to our attention that Captain Paul Watson has resigned as the President of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society in the United States and as President of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society Australia.

He also resigned for the position of Executive Director of Sea Shepherd Conservation Society USA and he will hold no paid position with Sea Shepherd anywhere.

He also stepped down as campaign leader for Operation Zero Tolerance.

He have also stepped down as Captain of the Steve Irwin.

Now it depends on the states themselves where Paul Watson may reside if they want to detain the captain. We already know that he is not save in countries like Germany where they are very eager to please corrupted countries like Costa Rica. The interpol system is not mandate to detain a person it is only a means of informing other countries that a person is flagged for arrest in a certain country.

Maybe the wisest descision yet, there is now way Paul Watson would get a fair trial in the Corrupted Costa Rica in case the bogus request for extradition to Costa Rica gets through. Somewhere between 22 and 25 captain Paul Watson left Germany. Skippin bail in Germany is not considered a crime.

People claiming that Paul Watson and the Sea Shepherd are mad tree hugging hippies, think again.

It is really odd how two different generations can share practically the same ideologies.

Severn Suzuki the 12 year old girl that let the U.N. speechless with her speech in 1992 seem to have a lot in common with Paul Watson’s way of thinking.

Paul Watson goes a little further than only having an idea, he protects nature with real actions, just like we all should be doing instead of hurting it.

We need to stop fighting people like Paul Watson who’s only intention is to protect nature. Nature has no way of defending itself against the worst kind of agressor on the planet, us!

We all know that human beings are driven by ego and greed, if we continue down this path we will end up destroying this planet for sure.

We need to start working together as real eco-warriors to find real solutions so we can ensure a better future for our children.

We need to demand this from our governments. And we need to set the example ourselves.

Germany has released captain Paul Watson on a 250.000 EURO bail.

Costa Rica has 90 days to present their case against Paul Watson. The German Ministry of Justice then will decide whether to extradite Watson to  Costa Rica.

On 2 March, 2012 INTERPOL issued a written statement to all 190 member countries making it clear that it would not publish a Red Notice seeking the arrest of Paul Franklin Watson because its Office of Legal Affairs was not satisfied that the request was in compliance with INTERPOL’s Constitution and Rules.

Any enquiries relating to arrests of individuals should be directed to the national authorities where the person was taken into custody.
